The Role | Education Advisor  (English Specialist)

We’re looking for an experienced English specialist to join our team and provide high-quality training, consultancy, and support to schools across the UK. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher (ideally an ex-English Lead) to share their expertise and make a real impact on English teaching nationwide — all while enjoying the flexibility of a remote, term-time working pattern.  

The Role: 

• Delivering engaging live training sessions via webinars, 1:1 consultancy, and group sessions. 

• Supporting schools in using the Sonar pupil tracker, with clear training and guidance. 

• Creating and updating e-learning and self-service training resources. 

• Leading English subject leader updates each term, sharing the latest pedagogy and policy insights. 

• Refreshing and maintaining subject-specific training content (phonics, spelling, etc.). 

• Building strong relationships with school leaders, teachers, and administrators. 

• Ensuring all delivery meets our high standards of quality and efficiency. 

About You: 

• A qualified teacher with a strong background in English (ideally former English Lead). 

• Knowledge of the UK education system and current pedagogy. 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

• Able to work flexibly and independently in a remote setting. 

• Experience delivering training or consultancy to schools. 

• Up-to-date knowledge of curriculum developments in English.
