We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and deliver end-to-end HR advice and support. The Role:
As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert HR guidance to schools and academies through our HR Advice Line services. You will be responsible for providing professional and timely support across a range of HR matters, including but not limited to:
Advice Line Service: Delivering timely and accurate HR advice to schools and academies in line with SLAs.
Maternity, Paternity, and Family Leave: Advising on policies and entitlements.
Investigations & Casework: Supporting and advising clients with HR investigations, hearings, grievances, absence management, performance management, and all ER matters.
Redundancy & Restructuring: Assisting with redundancy estimates and workforce restructuring.
Customer Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and service excellence.
Service Delivery: Ensuring all HR advice is accurate, compliant, and aligned with current employment law and education sector requirements.
About You:
We are looking for a confident and self-sufficient HR professional who can provide expert HR advice with minimal supervision. To succeed in this role, you should have:
Proven experience working in an HR advisory role with an HR advice line or similar service.
Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures in the education sector (experience in this sector is essential).
Experience managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters, grievances, and investigations.
Ability to handle a busy workload, working efficiently to meet SLAs and service expectations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Proficiency in HR systems and technology to deliver remote HR services.
A CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
Some travel required to client sites; a valid driving license and daily access to a vehicle are essential.
